Glyphotext version 1.2 has been launched!
The long awaited Glyphotext update is now available!
This new version features many new glyphs in the Library (now totaling more than 3400 glyphs) et brings a few imporvements to the application itself.
Also new with this version is the availability of the Per-Ankh of Glyphotext Users. This Web site, accessible exclusively to registered Glyphotext users, offers a efficient tracking system for request to add or correct glyphs contained in the Library. It also allows to download more frequent Library updates.
Also available on the Per-Ankh is a repository of texts in GOT format and the Glyphotext Developer's blog.
Version 1.2 is required to connect to the Per-Ankh. Simply select Help->Per-Ankh of users from the Glyphotext main menu.

New Glyphotext version (1.2) in the making
After a few months of rest, which was more than a necessity, we have resumed our work on GOT. A new version is indeed in preparation and will soon be available. No major changes for the moment, our concern bearing mostly on the catalogue. This last update will see more than 500 new signs, coming from basic texts, mainly from volume I of Urkunden IV.
Additionnaly, in the context of Project PTAH, texts of Urkunden IV will soon be made available online for registered Glyphotext users. We will soon explain how to proceed to access the texts published within the PTAH Project.

Glyphotext 1.1 Hotfix
This update corrects a bug that persisted through version 1.1 released 2 days ago.
Users who have already installed Glyphotext 1.1 can download a smaller size hotfix to update Glyphotext to version 1.1.1.1.

For users who have not yet installed Glyphotext 1.1, you can simply download the full installation program, which has also been updated to version 1.1.1.1

Glyphotext 1.1 has been released
This version, although released a little later than planned, brings many enhancements and corrects many bugs. See the update log fir a complete list of changes and corrections.
Registered users should have received upgrade instructions by email. If you are a registered user and did not receive our upgrade notification, please .
The new version is available for download here. If you already have installed the previous version, then your trial period will continue as before, until it reaches the 30-day limit.
Many thanks to all those who brought in suggestions, bug reports and comments, as it really contributes to improve Glyphotext.

A first update of Glyphotext is scheduled for release on November 1st!
This update will correct bugs reported by users, will fix the column-mode layout while allowing control of column layout on 2 levels: progression of the columns (from left to right or from right to left) and glyph orientation within columns (glyphs can "look" to the left or to the right).Additionnally, the catalog will introduce more than 50 new glyphs.
